Super cool vibe here. Love the decor and design choices and lots of beautiful live plants everywhere! Food was amazing; seared ahi Tuna was 10/10! Katsu was also very flavorful. Service was on the slow side, but we went at a very busy hour of day.

Really excellent food and drinks and very reminiscent of an actual izakaya. The karaage fried chicken was my favorite, with tangy seasoning and a deliciously savory sauce. While the shrimp skewers only had two shrimp, they were decently sized and very tasty. The curry and tuna mini bowls were also rich with flavor, and drinks were also fantastic. I re-ordered the Jasmine Collins, a real standout. Would definitely return here.

Stopped by for dinner without reservations. Sat at the bar for about 10min while we waited for a table. Had a local IPA and cider. Both on draft and both amazing. Made our way to our table and ordered tuna tar tar for a starter, tonkatsu ramen and a beef pho. Every dish was incredible, thoughtful and perfectly seasoned. I have very high standards for pho, and lean towards more traditional, but the freedom they took on the spices paid off. The temperature of all the dishes were perfect. They even had a decibel clock to show the noise volume which for me just shows that someone cares about details to that depth. Overall a perfect dining experience. Very impressive.

Love IMA! My only complaint is that the jicama taco needs to come back. I used to drive an hour just to get it, and then once I moved closer, they stopped serving it. Sad face. IMA is still a great spot, though. The menu is big enough that everyone can find something theyβll enjoy. The only items I wasnβt a huge fan of were the Robata dishes β everything we tried was pretty dry. The chicken karaage is a must (or the vegan option if thatβs more your style). All of the dumplings are delicious, especially with the sauce they come with. Honestly, they should offer a sampler option because itβs hard to pick just one! The green salad is fresh and light, and the spicy tuna sesame crisps are really good. I liked the texture and the crunch they added. My partner always gets the pork tonkotsu ramen and really enjoys it. The rice bowls are fresh, and the drinks are great too. If youβre looking for a non-alcoholic option, try the Purple Monsoon! Overall, IMA has a lot of great options and is a place where everyone in your group can find something they like.

I went during the afternoon on a Saturday, which is the best time to go for a quick service, because other times they are extremely busy. This was my first time, trying the yucky udon miso butter noodles, and it will not be my last. The noodles were so buttery and delicious and hot. You can add any kind of egg or any other toppings any kind of meat and it just increases the deliciousness of the bowl. The chicken karaage is so well seasoned and goes perfectly with all the items in the bowl. And if you donβt eat chicken, the tofu karaage is just as crispy and delicious as the chicken and I do not love tofu. It was slower than I would have liked when is not as busy, but our waitress was kind and were very supportive in our food decisions. It can be very intimate inside of the place when itβs busy they do have an outside patio, but it gets very hot in the summer.
